Perfect results in any tile with no chipping. We can handle any size tile including large format Quotations: Once we quote you a price over the telephone then that is the price you pay even if we take longer to complete the job. Example: You have three tiles to drill. Each tile has a different size hole. We quote you two hours machine time but it actually takes us three hours. We will only charge you for the two hours at £120. Broken tiles: Who pays? Tiles are expensive and when we drill them, we assume the risk. If we break your tiles then we pay for them. Please note that in four years of drilling tiles we have NEVER broken a tile. Incorrect drilling: When we drill a hole in a tile it will be to your exact written instructions which we insist on. If as a result of your instructions the hole is in the wrong place then you pay. We do not. Also you have to pay again for the replacement tile and our time to drill. Its therefore important that you correctly mark the tiles and check your measurements twice. The most common mistake people make is that they mark the back of the tile not the front of the tile. If we drill a tile we go in from the front. So we need you to be clear on your instructions. But don't worry because we have a lot of experience and will guide you fully in this area.
Broken tiles on delivery: If we send you tiles we crate them and protect them from damage. But if a tile gets broken we will claim against the courier. Wrong size or rework. If you have made a mistake in your dimensions and the hole is too small then you will have to pay again. The biggest mistake is people specify a 40mm hole. We will drill a 40mm hole and it turns out that the hole is for a 40mm waste pipe. But 40mm is the internal diameter of the pipe and what you needed was a 42mm hole. In that case the mistake is your mistake, not ours.
We will only drill what you specify. However because we deal with this on a routine basis we will talk to you and make sure that the holes you want are for the pipes you think you need! What we are saying is that we will do our best to remove mistakes but in the end if you write down 105mm for a soil stack then we really will drill a 105mm hole. If you come back and say oh I meant 110mm then it is your error. We are flexible but the point of all this is to make sure you know what you want before you tell us. The bottom line is that mistakes are expensive and time consuming.
